Checkpoint VPN

Hi,

I am having an odd issue. While trying to connect to work using checkpoint vpn my internet connection drops out after 5 to 10 mins consistently. It's not just the vpn that drops out but the entire house connectivity drops out and I have to reboot the modem. I have an Asus router connected to the modem but the problem seems to persist just connecting straight to modem as well.

Any solutions?

No issues when I connect through phone hotspot.

Thx!

Welcome to the Community @AC1.

I'm puzzled with your issue, but would love to work it out.

We'd like to check your account and run some tests to make sure that there's no problem within the NBN network.

Shoot me a PM with your TPG username or customer ID number.

Issue solved. Problem was the tplink modem DDOS protection dropping my router. I assume vpn was making lots of requests? Not sure. But turning it off solved the issue. I still have it on my Asus modem. Maybe the threshold is different.

Hey, AC1. Glad to know that the issue was solved by turning off the DDS protection this will help other community users in the event they encounter the same issue.
