Do I need a new router?

Hi All,

I have been a TPG NBN customer for a nubmer of years and recently found my connection constantly dropping out.  I in turn reboot everything and it seems to fix it, only for it to happen again.. and again.. and again.

Is there an option to upgrade my router's firmware? Get a new router? Or could it be something else?

Confused

Hi @gpriestley,

Welcome to TPG Community!

We were able to locate your account using your community details. It seems that the connection of the modem to the NBN server is stable.

If you are experiencing the dropouts through your WiFi connection, It is possible that signal interference is evident which causes the issue.

You may check our community article, which will give you some steps on how to improve your WiFi network at home. You may visit this link.

Once you've done the said steps and issues still persists, please let us know.

Kind regards,
