Hi

I have the same issue with dhcp for wired devices. Apparently the router is not assigning IP address to through the lan ports. Any hints?

Thanks the firmware was indeed updated

Unfortunately it hasn't fixed the problem where the router won't assign IP addresses (mutliple different devices, both wired and wireless). Rebooting fixes it but eventually it fails again (like when a table gets full). Although I have a lot of devices there are plenty of addresses available. I've tried increasing the range and adjusting lease time...but don't think this will fix it. See attached logs from router. (Note I've obscured part of the MAC addesses)

Hi @gmtoz,

Thank you for the update.

We've reviewed the account and learned that there was a request for a replacement modem from our Tech team. Once received, you may observe the connection if the same issue with the IP addressing will reoccur.

Let us know should you require further assistance.

Kind regards,

BasilDV

Hi,

the new modem arrived today. Unfortunately within 8 hours of installing it the same problem occured.

One solution would be to put the TPG modem into bridge mode and use another DHCP server (my Airport Extreme which is currenty in bridge mode) but this only seems to be possible on the DSL port, not the EWAN port. Alternatively I might try my Telstra modem which was quite reliable (prior to me switching to TPG)

Hi

My internet has become totally unusable. Devices often won't connect and so my kids can't do their homework. Is it possible that you can send me a different brand modem. Alternatively I'd like to be released from my TPG contract (happy to return the modem) so that I can go to another NBN provider that provides a better modem?
