Community User Guidelines

 

The purpose of the TPG Community (http://community.tpg.com.au) website is to provide TPG customers and others with a central place to ask questions and get help with issues that they are experience.

 

All are welcome to join the community but we ask you to observe our community rules. Our moderators will apply these rules when reviewing your content.

 

In general, you may not post content that is: abusive, defamatory, threatening, offensive, infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights, impersonates anyone or misrepresents a relationship with anyone or organisation, encourages unlawful acts or is unlawful in any way.

 

To ensure the content on TPG Community remains relevant and engaging for all users, you are expected to observe these 5 principles:

 

  1. Be respectful
    We understand that people often feel strongly about the issues discussed on TPG Community, but we may reject or remove any content that others might find offensive or threatening. Please be pleasant and respectful of the opinions and beliefs of others.

 

  1. Be relevant
    Make sure your contributions are relevant to the purpose of the TPG Community, to the specific discussion style and topic where you post. Please do not post duplicate messages in different areas of the community to avoid fragmenting discussion. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than interrupting a conversation. Advertising, promotions, solicitations or similar material are not relevant and are not permitted.

 

  1. Be mindful of other people’s rights
    Posts that infringe on people’s rights, including copyright or other intellectual property rights will be removed.

 

  1. Protect privacy - yours and others'
    Do not share too much information about yourself, including your personal information, in the open social environment. Be mindful not to post any user information or personnel information in the community, including contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one communications without the other party’s consent.

 

  1. Remember again, be respectful

 

Remember the conversation belongs to everybody. We want this to be a welcoming space for intelligent discussion, and we expect participants to help us achieve this by notifying us of potential problems and helping each other to keep conversations inviting and appropriate. If you spot something problematic on our blogs, please report it.

You will notice that some community members have a TPG logo next to their names - this means they are TPG employees.

 

Like you, they are members of the community around TPG products, and we encourage them to share their knowledge and opinions here.

Flag inappropriate content for review

If you recognise any violation of these guidelines, please notify us within the community by choosing "Report Inappropriate Content" from the message's Options menu and let us know why you feel the content is inappropriate.
