Newly installed NBN. Using Archer VR1600v modem router. Coverage is fine in the main area of the house where the router is situated. Coverage is also fine in 1-3 m radius. However, on the far corners of the house around 5-10 metres (separated by multiple walls) coverage is abysmal and signal strength is poor (On both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz - the signal strength is ~ -73 dbm). The connection is unreliable and there are frequent dropouts. Does TPG provide a better router for larger houses? Or can we just purchase a router better suited to the layout of our house? ...
