Mobile sim activated but no service

I got my mobile phone number ported from Telstra two days ago and the TPG team assured me my sim was active and asked me to delete the extra number on settings. Now I have lost access to my Telstra service. I cannot call TPG for help and I am stuck with no call or SMS facility. I do not know how to reactivate the eSIM as it shows an error when I try to scan the old QR code.
