Will FTTH improve our WIFI throughout the house. Currently on a 50 mps which is debatable.

Hi @swetman . Get the best speed indication using an ethernet computer.

Otherwise, use a wifi device on 5GHz band next to the router.

With a wifi device, check the wifi connection speed between device and router. You should get wifi speed over 75 Mbps.

If the internet speed test, eg Ookla, is low, there might be a line fault.

If wifi coverage is poor, low signal strength, a wifi extender might help.

 

If you are on FTTN, the router might have DSL statistics to indicate line quality. If low speed is caused by distance from the node, FTTP will improve it, but you might have to switch to a speed over NBN100.
