Soo… tried connecting it directly to the nbn grey box, but no luck since I’m guessing the firmware needs updating and under ISP settings on the Eero only shows WAN type = DHCP… So I’ve added it to an Ethernet port of the tp link router, and it’s all updating via that way… do you know if there are any ramifications of leaving the Eero setup this way, via Ethernet to the modem and not directly to the nbn box? Ohhh, I was more after something like put the tpg router into bridge mode, then plug the Eero into its Ethernet port, and then I keep seeing vdsl 2 everywhere? I’d have thought the Eero would work as the dhcp server and all that jazz? Cheers ... View more
