I have a TP Link vr1600 and the unit has always felt very hot and now the plastic has turned yellow (see attached image).The modem is in a well ventilated area and out of the sun on top of a bedside drawer unit, with nothing around it. I have seen others on the forum complaining about the same modem and issue.
