Trying to setup Nighthawk RAX70 to NBN HFC

I have tried setting it up for PPoE (username/password) and enable VLAN tag group with ID=2 (I have bundled phone) but can't seem to connect. What I have noticed is - connected from NBN box to the WAN port on the RAX70 - VLAN group wants to add any of the 4 LAN ports or WiFi, no mention of the WAN port, tried adding different ports no impact So question is it possible to connect the RAX70 to the NBN HFC box and do I use the WAN port or one of the LAN ports and what other settings are needed if any ?   Any ideas appreciated. @BasilDV  It is working again now.   As for errors I didn't troubleshoot too far in Thunderbird as it just kept asking for password as it couldn't connect.   Trying the webpage it would just 'spin' and after a minute drop back to the login page. Like a timeout but no error. Again didn't dig too deep as I assumed the same problem as last week. ... View more

Same here except trying to login via the webpage works about 1 in10 times.   I have been migrating most of mail contacts to a 'gmail' account as I half expected this to be a "f-up" but some I can't easily change.   Now I don't get any mail to this account, can send but not recieve, poor service. ...
