I just recently moved home as well, and I wanted to install adsl2 in my new unit.
They have said that a technician will come, but they did not even knock our unit door and check if things work in the unit. We still have no dial-tone and adsl service since 2 weeks ago. I called them again before their shutdown due to Covid19, they promised that a technician is coming "before 20/03/2020" without needing my attendance in the unit. But until now, no dial-tone and adsl service.
