yes I think you're right and none of the moderators understand the question, nor did the young lady on the Help Line, who though very courteous & helpful hadn't been briefed and couldn't find anyone who had, but she did find out that the closure had been moved to August, so there's a bit of time to explore options.
I don't think anyone at TPG knows whats going on so the safest option would be to move our web-site and associated e-mail accounts to someone with an understanding of IT.
And thanks for the lead on managed DNS, it's been a while since I worked in that area so my knowledge and experience is way out of date. I'll look and see if I can make sense of it - might just answer a problem with Gmail blocking emails from hosted site addresses because their security check uses reverse lookup which fails as the source IP address points back to the host company (TPG in this case), not the address of the hosted sender of the emails (eg ascidian.com.au).
