When I signed up initially I had to pay for the set-up, delivery and also a deposit to cover anything if I did something out of my plan. E.g. International calls.
Just reluctantly swapped over to NBN and have been trying to get the deposit put over from ADSL to NBN which is no easy challenge I can tell you.
Im wondering if TPG thinks customers forget about things like that, but I didnt because I had no plans to do anything "outside" of my plan and didn't want to pay a deposit. However, I did! In addition, its easy enough to change the plan if you want to do calls overseas anyways.
It seems TPG will charge you if you are 5 mins late ($10 penalty) as well as deduct anytime they like from your account if they have made the mistake of not charging you correctly in the first place, but when it comes to refunding or crediting back money - is it possibly another story.
To those that may have forgotten what they paid in the initial set up and have since changed over to NBN - check to see if a deposit is owed you.
Anyone else had the same hassle with their deposit?
