FTTP - TP-Link Deco M9 Plus

HI,If the TPG connection is connected to my home address with FTTP, can I simply use my Deco M9Plus as the core router + AP rather than switching to the AX1500 given by the TPG?

Is Deco M9Plus supported?  And is it VDSL that I should choose as connection type?
