Hi,


It appears over the last 24 / 48 hours my upload has serverly decreased in speed. Usually we can obtain an easy 32  to 36 Mbits but as of this morning its as if it has been metered and barely will reach over 2Mbits.

Currently running a Untangle Firewall, I have also tested with another PFSense firewall getting the same results. I've also dug out the TPG Supplied Netcomm router which is known to work for the speeds, this also deleivers only 2Mbits of upload.

 

I'm located in Brisbane, QLD and cannot see if there are any service interruptions but this really is odd. The Untangle Firewall and PFSense firewalls are virtual appliances and the Netcomm is a physical router. All appliances are known to work at decent speeds.

 

Checked all the NIC configurations and the duplex is set correctly, MTU etc etc. My guess is something on the NBN Network side.

 

Attached is an example of the upload speed, this is a consistent 1.8 to 2.4 Mbits using TPG's custom speedtest but also the speeds remain for Telstra, Optus and all other speed test hosts.. Is it possible to let me know if anything can be looked into?
