Can’t connect nbn

What a joke. I signed up and got my equipment from tpg after waiting 3 days. Now there is no connection on the nbn box. I was told that an nbn technician is required. The earliest is 10 days from now.
I CANT afford to wait this long. I am in big trouble and falling behind as a result of being unable to do my work (from home). No matter how much I tell tpg I need it asap, they just don’t seem to care
