Dropping NBN Connection

Hi,

 

Since I have installed a HFC NBN connection, the internet connection keeps dropping. I am using the suplied TP-Link router which constantly gives me different errors including:

 

'Internet Status: Disconnected Please manually configure DNS Server' 

'Internet Status: Disconnected Please check the phone connection' 

'Internet Status: Disconnected Please check with provider the quality of the wires' 

 

The internet reguarly drops for 1-10 minute intervals. 

 

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thank you for raising this with us.

 

Our test results show that the NBN box itself is losing the connection. This will require investigation by NBNCo. For assistance regarding this issue, I have this escalated to our Engineering Team. You will be receiving updates via SMS or phone call from one of our Engineers regarding this matter. If you have other questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment.

I too am having this problem. TheDSL ligh statrs flashing and I lose Internet connection. After about a minute, theDSL light comes back on again. Our NBN is wire to the node. Pretty poor service!
