Getting connected

Hi. After reading various posts by customers asking why they havent been connected, I can see that it may take 5 days or so.. or longer.. my wife and I work from home and rely on an internet connection to do so. Dont want to be in the situation where the ADSL is cut and we still have no NBN. What can you tell me please. Area: Belgrave 3160 victoria. Thanx Matt
