Internet dropping out for the last week

My internet has been dropping in and out all week, and by that I mean 20 or thirty times a day.  Ill be in the middle of something and lose connection and then when its back its very slow.  Ive done the cycling bit several times, plugged it in to the phone line direct etc but nothing changes, it just works for a while then its gone for a while.  This is a work line and im presenttly workong off my phone hot spot to meet deadlines.
