Internet stopped working after service workers did maintenance on connection line

Been trying to get through to customer support all day but keep being redirected to answering machines which keep hanging up on us. I’m lucky enough to have some limited mobile data to be able to even ask a question here.
After service workers attended to the network lines yesterday at approximately 2-3pm our ADSL internet connectivity has ceased, we are dissapointed that after numerous calls and promises that a technitiam would come and talk to us for hours waiting for a reply, only to be redirected to an answering machine which promptly hangs up. Our patience is starting to run thin as we expected at least a follow-up to our issue.
