Hey, I have an archerVR1600v modem and about 2 days ago the internet on my computer stopped working via Ethernet cable , tried different cables but still the same.

I have now noticed that the lan port lights on my modem have stopped lighting up and the lan is not working on several of my device with different cables.

I have turned it off and no, changed cables and down a full reset of the modem.
Could the modem be broken or am I missing something.

Do you have a Windows computer connected by cable?

Open a command window and enter the command:

ipconfig/all|more

The character before more is the vertical bar (shift backslash). Copy and paste the first page into this post.

On your wifi device, in wifi settings, tap your connected network and include its ip address in this post.

You could also check the router's system log for any errors after power on.

I presume this is the address of one of your wifi devices: IP address is 192.168.1.104.

 

It does look like the ethernet part of the router has broken. Windows reports Media disconnected.

Have you tried your computer in all 4 ethernet ports?

Do you have an old router you can connect the computer to, just to eliminate it, or have you already tried another computer?

 

In router config, goto Advanced > Network > Interface Grouping. There should be one group called Default.

The LAN Interface column should show 4 ethernet ports and 2.4G and 5G. The manual is not clear as to what else should be there. Can you attach a screen shot of this?

 

Check the router's system log. Connect your computer. Turn router off and on and wait for it to come ready.

You'll have to do the following on your wifi device.

See if the log makes any reference to ethernet or even just the characters eth. If you want, you could save the log to a file on your device and attach the file to this post.

Yes that is the IP for the wifi device 

 

I have tried my computer in the 4 different lan ports, as well as changing computers still doesn't show up or even light up.
