Moving address with gap between leaving old an starting new address

I am leaving an address with a period of several weeks befoe moving to a new address in the same area.

I want to keep the phone number live during this period where there is no physical connection for my NBN service.

How can I do this?

I spoke to 'moving' phone service but don't think they understood what I was driving at.

IE How can I retain my phone service while between permises.

It is a small business account.
