New nbn modem not connecting to internet

Hello, i have just received my new modem to connect to nbn. Its been 3 hrs and there in no internet connection and i cannot call any, can someone please help

I was speaking to someone for 1 hour and it got disconnected. Can someone please call me back

Have you tried with your existing ADSL modem?. NBN service may not be ready, means the new TPG NBN modem will not work.

My old modem works however the new one dpesnt. Apparently my call got escalated and it got disconnected
