Get online support

Paying for unlimited and top speed = intermittent nbn connection and speeds less than 20mbps

Nothing but poor connection over at least 6 months
slow speed is ridiculous
I have purchased a new modem as the old tpg one was outdated
worked well for sometime
but the last 6 months has been ridiculous
I have been in contact and supported by tech support
they are able to get the service up and running usually
speed poor as usual
then intermittent connection as usual

Hi @glilly,

 

There are different types of dropouts that you may experience:

 

1. Network dropouts, this dropout is caused by a line fault on TPG or NBN's network. Affecting all device(s) LAN/Wireless connected to the modem/router this may require a real-time test and investigation by our Technicians and Engineers.

 

2. Wireless dropouts, this issue only affects the device(s) connected via Wi-Fi which can easily be fix by doing adjustment to the modem/router's settings.

 

3. Dropouts caused by ongoing outage in your area.
