I had called to join tpg broadband. I was told I wouldn’t be charged to get nbn box installed also as the house is already nbn ready according to the provider on the phone when she searched my address. I was then emailed and charged $300 for an nbn box to be installed after being told I wouldn’t need to do that. I also payed $89.99 just to start off without even receiving anything yet which I would like my refund for as it has been shocking already and I haven’t even managed to be connected let alone before even receiving the modem for the internet. Was then told I couldn’t get a refund because I’ve already signed up and when I said I haven’t even received a modem yet or even starting any connections as I only payed for it last night the phone was hung up.
