For some reason, I'm unable to send emails.

I get the following error message.

Anyone know what the problem is?

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was '**********@tpg.com.au'.

 Subject 'Test email'

Server Error: 535

Server Response: 535 5.7.8 [TPG-A02] Authentication denied. User **********@tpg.com.au is banned from using SMTP AUTH due to previous abuse

Server: 'mail.tpg.com.au'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC78

Protocol: SMTP

Port: 25

Secure(SSL): No

All fixed now.

Apparently my email address was used to send a "spam like" email (possibly due to virus or hacking), which must have made TPG automatically block me from sending any more emails.  I just had to go into my TPG account and change password.
