Superfast & Ultrafast Plans

Hi,

Just wondering.

As the new NBN Extra Fast plans (Superfast/Ultrafast) do not include a phone service, what would happen to my current UNI-V connection and number?

Also, making an assumption, the absolute maximum achievable speeds (Download/Upload) available outside of the peak period (7pm to 11pm) would be:

Superfast 250Mbps/25Mbps; and

Ultrafast 1000Mbps/50Mbps.

I am aware that, as a new service, data would have to be collected to determine the average peak period speeds, but the maximum achievable speeds would remain constant.

Would this be correct?

Again, thanks to TPG for the six months trial. It was fantastic.

Greg

Hi @Greg_121,

About the existing VoIP service, we can check this with our Account Specialists Team if there is an alternate option to keep the service in the event that you wish to proceed upgrading to TPG NBN Super/Ultrafast plan. I can have our Account Specialists Team to contact you. Feel free to drop me a message with your best contact number and preferred time.

On the other hand, TPG will revise these Typical Evening Speeds once it has collected enough data on the speed performance of these plans, Yes the maximum achievable speed would remain constant.

Let us know should you require further assistance.

Cheers!

Hi Shane,

Thank you for your reply. I was actually just trying to clarify that the Superfast and Ultrafast upload speeds were 25Mbps and 50Mpbs respectively before making any decisions.

Thanks

Greg
