Very slow peak speeds

Hi TPG,

Recently my download speeds for adsl2 have dropped to between 0.1mbps-0.5 mbps during peak hours. Outside these hours it seems ok at around 4mpbs

I have gone through all the recommended troubleshooting with no results.

Could you please send a technician to determine if there is a fault

Thanks

Hi @Qaggafett,

Welcome to TPG Community!

There are a lot of factors that may affect the actual speed of ADSL services, such as the distance from the local telephone exchange, the quality of the copper line, cabling and equipment. In addition, the devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable.

We have located the account using your community details and we were able to check the status of your connection.

We are not detecting any fault on the line or network at the moment.

If you are connecting your devices via WI-FI, we recommend having a read of these community articles, which may help in improving the wireless connection speed.
