NBN Co have raised the wholesale data price.
But with NBN plans, the 12/25/60Mb/s plans increase by $5, wheras the high speed plans 100/250Mb/s, have no price increase.
So the price increase has nothing to do with the amount of data the customer might be able to consume.
That's a bit like a petrol price hike, except with petrol the more you use the more you pay. The new price structure means the less you use, the more you pay proportionally.
It's discriminating against customers who have lower speed plans because they either don't need more bandwidth or can't afford more bandwidth.
