Is it possible to change the channel for 5GHz on my VX420-g2v to 2.4GHz?

Our printer will only work on 2.4GHz. Thank you.

Hi @stevecowland72,

Yes, we can.  Simply,  access the modem/router page and go to Wireless Settings (Advanced).

From there you can Switch off Band Steering and you will have the option to select 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz also renaming the Wi-Fi network.

Do they require the 'admin' and 'password' login details.

I'm at home at the moment and It's our business network I'm trying to fix, so I'm trying to get all the answers now before Monday.

Yep. That is correct the default username and password can be found on the sticker label of the modem/router also the URL of the modem/router's page.
