The Cost of 13 numbers from TPG landlines is a joke!
How does it cost TPG extra to connect you to a 13 number that is essentially the same cost
to connect to, or is there something special going on?
ie. TPG charge for something no one else charges for?
I don't mind having credit - but charging for 13 numbers when everything else is included in a joke that
I cannot understand. Can the CEO of TPG please explain it to me - or should I just move to another provider?
I am sad to learn that you are not happy with a 'pay as you go' basis with our 13/1300 number calls. However, the company has made a business decision to not include 1300 number calls to our existing add-on home phone plans at the moment.
We will raise this to our management for their consideration. Please let us know if you wish to speak with our Account Specialists Team to discuss details of service cancellation.

It also seems I can maintain my connection as FTTB with iinet cheaper than TPG please ask your management why that is too.
Please also pass this on to your senior management...
With such companies that make such foolish management decisions I always ask that my calls/communications are recorded for quality, coaching & comedy purposes, as whenever I call organisations like Telstra, TPG, or
Government (& Marketing departments) as they almost
invariably seem to end up in a farce (hopefully you understand what a
farce is - they rarely do so I have to tell them - a funny play for the
theatre based on silly and unlikely situations and events)
Also...
I would like the CEO, All senior executives, chairman of board & all
board members of all Australian companies to be forced to listen to 1
hour of that company's "on hold" music before they start work in the
morning and 1 hour before they are allowed to go home in the evening.
As well, if they need to make any decision regarding the running of the
company during the day listen to another 20 minutes before making the
decision.
That way those people who are only concerned with the share price &
their bonuses would leave the running of the company to the bottom
levels who are much more capable of doing so.
I think this would have an extremely positive effect of the
productivity of Australia companies.
We appreciate your feedback, @jwadodson and this has been taken into account, let us know should you require further assistance.
Really? What kind of response is that?
What exactly has been taken into account?
Hopefully that the CEO reads some user opinion!
Hi @jwadodson,
We believe that we provide the best value for our very own TPG FTTB plan, which starts at AUD 49.99 per month vs our nearest competitor, which costs AUD 59.99.
As for calls to 13/1300 numbers, the cost per call with TPG home phone is 30 cents while other providers charge between 33 to 44 cents per call/minute.
Let us know if you have further queries.
Regards,
Angeli
