Home Phone has continuous Tone, not Dial Tone

Hi All,

Suburban Brisbane. We have HFC with phone. Internet is fine.
However I noticed a few hours ago that the home phones don't work for incoming or outgoing. We don't have the useual 50Hz dial tone, but a continuous tone. Calling in we get "Your call could not be connected at this time . . .0018 OCA" or something like that.

We don't use the home phone often so I don't know how long this has been the case.

I don't want to phone TPG on my mobile. 

Can anyone help?

Hi @Erbmit 

 

Let us help you understand what is causing issues with your landline phone. May we know if the handset connected is wireless? If so, can you try a different hand and test the landline on your mobile?
