Land line Congested - cannot use

I have not had a land line for over 2 weeks

If I pick up the receiver, I get an engaged signal

If anybody calls the line, they get a message saing there is "Congestion in my area"

I have tried using chat - but can rarely get through, or when I do, they put me on hold indefinately - gave up after 6 hours the other day  (I have nothing much else to do)

Hi captainphil,

I am trying to call you, but it just is redirected to your voicemail. It may possible the issue comes from your phone handset, could you tried with different one?
