Landline phone problem

Hi all. I had my NBN installation completed yesterday, but my landline phone is not working.

It is plugged into the modem correctly, has a dial tone, but I can't make or receive calls, and the phoneline light on the modem is not on. Advice, please.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I checked your account using your community details. I can see that both your internet and home phone should be working already.


Can you perform additional tests (incoming and outgoing calls) and let us know if you're still having problem with the home phone?


In addition, please ensure that your handset is connected to the phone1 port of the modem.
