Nbn installation

I want the modem installed in the lounge but the active phone socket is in the hallway will this be done on the day of install for nbn internet and home phone?

Hi

With NBN installations and the way NBN works, the phone normally lives beside the modem as the phone must plug into the back of the modem to work. If you have a Wireless phone system with multiple handsets, the Base station could sit beside the modem and the remote handsets can be placed wherever you want them as they only require power and not a Phone line.
