Number ported without consent - customer support still hasn't done anything

I upgraded from ADSL2+ to NBN50 about a month ago and the technician performing the upgradechanged our landline number without telling me. My original number was 9738 9889 and this has been changed without my consent to one beginning with 8... I have brought this issue up multiple times now over the phone and each time TPG customer support has promised to call back to resolve the issue but no call has ever been made. It has been over 3 weeks now since my original call and still no change has been made. I want my number ported back immediately. This isabysmally slow service for a problem that should never have happened in the first place.
