cannot call uk

for the past week i havent been able to call uk from australia.  I can recieve calls from Uk but cant call uk.  any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Have you try any another number of UK?
Are you able to call that UK number from Australian mobile?
Is that UK mobile or Home phone number?
