Get online support
Hi all,
As I am experiencing a lot of drop outs of the internet connection for the last 3 days I thought I check the latest version of the modems firmware.
I got access to my modem (Archer VR1600v v2.0 00000000) and retrieved the current firmware of the latter (0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n).
I thought the modem would tell me if there is a newer version available or not. But it didn't. It just told me that I should check on the TPG download site. So, I went there but only found pdfs to download containing information how to set up the modem. But I couldn't find the site where it says what the latest firmware for my modem is.
Could someone please help me and show me where I can check if my firmware is the latest?
Hardware version: Archer VR1600v v2.0 00000000
Software version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n
Thanks a lot!
Cheers
Christoph
Hi @ChrisBarkh
I can confirm that the modem has the latest firmware version. The dropouts affecting the service could be caused by a line fault.
Let us help fix this. Shoot us a PM with your details to proceed with the initial investigation.
