Connected but no internet

The connection is working, but it says there is no Internet. The local internet and electricity in my current location are all fine but my modem seems to be the only one that can't use the internet. Also, I turned off the machine more than once, waited for more than 10 seconds, and then turned it on again, but it did not work. The DSL and Internet parts of the modem do not light up.
