Do I need a Router or a Modem Router?

Hi Team, 

I have a HFC connection at my premises. I'd like to get a new router as the current one does not provide enough coverage for my home. Do I need to connect a modem router or simply a router to my NBN connection box?

Thanks for being a part of the TPG Community.

You can use either, your NBN box is actually the Modem

A Router is required for WiFi but make sure it has ethernet ports if you want to connect using an ethernet cable (always better for Netflix or home networking)
