Hi there,

I am attempting to set up tpg email on Samsung Galaxy 10+ microsoft outlook app.  Outlook seems to only allow IMAP and I understand that TPG is POP email.

I have looked through many similar topics and tried all the posted suggestions.  Wondering if anybody has success.  Also would appreciate it if you tell me it's simply not possible as I will then stop trying...

thanks!

Hi @zyzhao,

Welcome to the community!

You may also setup your TPG email using Gmail Client it will allow you to setup your IMAP or POP email or you can also use the Android's stock email client.

Let us know should you require further assistance.

Cheers!

I'm trying to do the same with no success. MS tell me pop3 is coming but doesn't seem to be there yet. They want to know TPGs exchange mail server settings.  Does anyone know them?

Hi @debm16, try to use the following settings below:

Incoming Mail Server: mail.tpg.com.au
Incoming Mail Server Port (POP3): 110

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) : mail.tpg.com.au
Outgoing Mail Server Port (POP3) : 25

Username:   Your TPG Account Username
Password:  Your TPG Account Password

Let us know how it goes. Thank you.

Hi @debm16, we have received your PM. Please be advised that the email linked to your TPG account is a POP3 account. We don't use exchange server settings.

If your email client doesn't support POP3 email, then that could be the reason why you're unable to set up the TPG email successfully.
