Huawei hg658 cutting out

My internet keeps cutting out the when it does the modem Huawei hg658 all lights go out exept for the power light which turns orange after about 20 mins it connects again for about 5 mins then drops out again
Any info on how to resolve this would be much appreciated

Sounds like your modem is rebooting, and you might need to purchase a new modem.

-Please check that you are using the right power supply for your modem. It should have 12VDC/2A printed on the label.

-If you are going through a powerboard can you connect direct to the power point?
