Latency difference between TP Link 1600v vs. Huawei HG658

Hi,

I noticed there is a difference in latency between the TP Link 1600v vs. Huawei HG658, which is 14ms vs. 6ms respectively (pinging sites like google.com and www.tpg.com.au).  My Huawei recently broke and now I only have the TP Link 1600v available for use, is there anyway to improve the ping times to make it comparable with the HG568?

You may try to factory resett the modem/router and reconfigure it to see if the latency will improve also i would love to check if the modem/router is on the latest firmware version. Kindly send me your account details (Username/Customer ID together with the Serial number of the modem/router).
