As long as the router supports or has the option to change the VLAN tagging that should work.
Note: You need to configure your device to be a router only with the VLAN ID 2. If not, then you may use your device as an access point instead.

I am on NBN HFC service with the telephone service provided
If I go for Netgear RAX40v2 router, can I continue to use the NBN service from TPG?
I know the telephone is not going to work as this router does not have a telephone socket and I am ok with it.
