NBN Modem

Hi, I recently got and had my NBN installation completed, my router connected and nbn box arrived.

After the installation was finished the internet was fast and speedy up to my expectations, but after using it for no more than 2 hours the modem keeps turning off by itself, I have checked cables, looked at guides and none of them work or just dont relate to my problem. Every hour or 2 the modem just restarts by itself meaning the internet just stops all of a sudden.

I have also noticed that both my modem and nbn box are heating up very fast.
