Thanks for bringing this to our attention the auto configuration of the modem/router should not take longer than 30mins since you have done performing soft-reset you may try to do a hard-reset by pushing the pinhole of the device.
If the issue still persists, drop me a private message with your account details (Username/Customer ID together with the address on file) include your best contact number and preferred time.

Connected new modem into NBN box a few days ago after confirming that the service had been activated via email, and the 30mins auto configuration notification keeps appearing. After repeated restarts and waiting the allotted time this issue still persists. Not too sure how to fix this issue
