TPG TP Link VR1600v V2 Locked

Hi I believe my modem is not locked lookig at previous posts but the VoIP part of the VR1600 is locked to TPG. There are other functions not available with TPG firmware. Not sure what this means and how it will affect me with another ISP. 

I need to switch to anothe ISP will my TPG TP Link VR1600v V2 work with another ISP.

The VoIP feature of our supplied modem will only work on TPG's network as we provide the modem for all our NBN plans as they are sold as an Internet & Home Phone Bundle, the Home Phone component of the bundle is encrypted for security of our network.

Hi Thanks for your reply, I'm still not sure what this means. Will the modem work with another ISP for accessing the internet?

Is it just that the home phone won't work?

Yes, that is correct the modem will work to access the internet with different ISP. Only the VoIP feature will not work.
