Updates for Huawei Model HG659

Hi there,
We have a Huawei Model HG659 Home Gateway. We have had it for many years and wondered if it should have a software or firmware update? Currently it supports WPA-PSK+WPA2-PSK security mode and TKIP+AES WPA encryption mode. I have noticed WPA3-Personal is the more updated and best security setting currently, which with an older device is not available. We have several new devices which are telling us we have a weak security status and we are having slight connection issues. Do updates to my existing Huawei device upgrade this to WPA-3 Personal or do I need a newer router/modem to do that? Advice would be appreciated. Thank you 😊
