nbn modem clicking non stop and red light flashing no internet

I have tried unplugging and resetting the modem but nothing works, 

I'm on hold with tpg and pretty sure noone is going to answer. 

I really need internet and not sure what to do to rectify the problem when noone is available to help, 

please help! thanks

I got hold of someone yesterday and they said I need a technician to fix the problem and I would be updated within 12 - 24 hours which has not happened? Im quite patient but I dont believe the company should advise customers they will they will update within a timeframe if they cant actually do so. 

My ticket number is 12207838 ! 

I need internet for work and at the moment hotspotting from my mobile which seems to be fine from a different provider.
