A month waiting - Still no NBN FTTN connection.

I have been waiting over a month for my NBN connection.
The technician came out towards the end of July and said there wasn't even a lead-in to the house I rent...So I paid $1500 to get a contractor to trench in a lead-in the following day, and then requested another connection date which was 2 weeks later, waited all day but the technician never arrived. Made several other requests for connection and nothing has happened. No response, no technician, no connection. Will try another provider.
